United Monolithic Semiconductors was created in 1996, as a joint venture of Thales and EADS, to provide a European source of III-V technologies and products.
The Company has industrial facilities in Ulm, Germany and Orsay, France (headquarters), and sales offices in Lowel, MA USA and Shanghaï, China.
In 2009, the head-count was 255 people, for sales of 47M€, serving four main markets around the world.
