UMS and NI AWR are glad to announce the availability of the upgraded GH25 GaN PDK for MWO. This new PDK supporting 64 & 32 bit will operate in all MWO versions from v10 onwards. This version includes several improvements and features.
Eric Leclerc, UMS Foundry Manager underlines: “First, it includes a complete electro-thermal FET model and new FET topology available via pcell, along with other useful functions such as: thick metal line option for easier routing, and an updated DRC rules for NI AWR DRC engine.”
Graeme Ritchie, Director of IC Design Flows, NI AWR Group – National Instruments adds: “this new PDK includes an Automatic Shape Pre-Processing geometry simplification rules added for Axiem to improve EM simulation and support for inets, NI AWRs automatic interconnect technology including automatic DRC correct crossover insertion. We have also added support for NI AWR’s ACE microwave extractor and connectivity rules to support NI AWR-s RF/DC connectivity checkers”
