A research paper entitled: 0.8–8 GHz 4-bit MMIC phase shifter for T/R modules

A research paper on a wide band phase shifter designed on our PH25 GaAs 0.25 pHEMT process has been published by Mr Mauro Ferrari and Luca Piattella from Elettronica S.p.A. in the International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies, Cambridge University Press and the European Microwave Association, 2015.

This paper entitled "0.8–8 GHz 4-bit MMIC phase shifter for T/R modules" presents the design approach and test results of a fully passive, decade bandwidth GaAs MMIC, composed by a phase shifter (PS) with a cascaded absorptive single pole double throw switch, suitable for transmitter/receiver modules in active electronically scanned array antennas. This phase shifter combines all-pass filters with high-pass filters, in order to provide < 13dB insertion loss, < +20° phase error and    < +2.5 dB amplitude error over the 0.8–8GHz bandwidth.
