United Monolithic Semiconductors, leader in microwave and mm-wave MMIC solutions, is pleased to announce that the recently created design and customer support centre in the United States is now fully operational.
Based in Lowell, Massachusetts area, UMS USA, Inc. will contribute to the expansion of UMS’ offer with products & technologies operating from DC to 100GHz, addressing the Telecommunication infrastructure, SATCOM, Automotive, Defense & Space, Instrumentation and Industrial market sectors.
Additionally, the mission of the design centre will be to provide its U.S. customers with a high level of technical support and a fast response to enquiries on existing products and new custom designs.

The CHC3014 is a highly integrated Receive/Transmit Multifunction operating in 8 to 12GHz bandwidth.
This new « RX-TX Core Chip » consists of
- Receive/Transmit switches
- 6-bit phase shifter 360°/step 5.625° with RMS phase error=2°
- 6-bit attenuator 34.6dB/step 0.55dB with RMS attenuation error=0.3dB
- 2-bit attenuator for tuning 6dB/step 2dB
- Input power@-1dB gain compression RX=5dBm
- Noise factor RX = 5.8dB
- Output medium power amplifier 20dBm TX out
- Digital control interface 0/3.3V |
